A dead-easy and dead-quick shortbread recipe, all in it shouldn’t take more than 30-40 minutes before it’s sat and cooling off!

All you’re going to need is:
- 1/2 lb butter
- 3/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 cup self-raisng flour
- a dash of milk
Then you’re going to need to:
- Cream the butter and sugar together
- add the sifted flour
- if the dough is too crumbly to roll add a dash of milk to obtain a workable dough
- roll out to about 1/4 inch thickness and score with a knife and prick with a fork
- bake in a low oven for about 20-30 minutes until golden brown
- if you want you can sprinkle over some caster sugar whilst it’s cooling
- nom nom nom with friends … also dip into tea
